Our News & Market Intelligence Team specializes in monitoring and analyzing European chemical industry trends, EU policy updates, raw material price fluctuations and supply-demand changes across the CEE and Ukrainian markets. Key Responsibilities
● Track upstream and downstream industrial trends of the global and European chemical sectors, and monitor real-time updates of EU environmental, trade and tariff policies.
● Collect daily price data of basic chemicals, fine chemicals and polymer materials in Poland, CEE and Ukraine, and sort out price fluctuation cycles and influencing factors.
● Verify multi-channel intelligence including industry media, manufacturer updates, local distributor feedback and EU official documents to filter invalid information and deliver objective analysis conclusions.
● Compile weekly market intelligence reports covering policy interpretation, price trend forecasts, supply-demand analysis and competitor dynamics for regular internal sharing.
● Establish a classified market intelligence database to archive policy documents, price charts and industry news for team inquiry and reuse.
● Collaborate with sales, compliance and supply chain teams to provide targeted intelligence support for market development, risk early warning and sales strategy adjustment.
● Identify potential market risks including policy adjustments, raw material price surges and supply chain disruptions, and issue proactive risk reminders.
Requirements
● Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Industry Studies, International Trade, Economics, Journalism & Media or related majors.
● Experience: At least 1 year of experience in chemical industry research, industry media operation or commodity market analysis.
● Language: Fluent in English for reading EU official documents, European industry news and foreign trade reports; Polish language skills are a bonus.
● Core Competencies: Outstanding information screening, data sorting and logical analysis capabilities; sensitive to price and policy changes with excellent report writing skills.
● Soft Skills: Self-disciplined with stable weekly report output capability; strong awareness of cross-team communication and information sharing.
● Bonus Points: Familiar with the CEE chemical market; candidates with industry media or professional research institution backgrounds are preferred.
