Product Grades
Industrial Grade
Classified by content into premium grade (≥99.5%), superior grade (≥98.5%), and first grade (≥98.0%). Mainly used in chemical synthesis such as resins, coatings, and antifreeze.
Food Grade
Purity is generally no less than 99.5%, with strict limits on heavy metals, diethylene glycol, and microbiological indicators. Commonly used as a humectant and sweetener in pastries and beverages.
Pharmaceutical Grade
Purity requirement is ≥98.0% (some specifications require higher), with extremely stringent control over diethylene glycol residue (kept within 0.1%–0.5%), heavy metals, and sterility indicators. Mainly used in the production of pharmaceutical preparations, ointments, and suppositories.
Cosmetic Grade
Purity is typically ≥95.0% or ≥99.5%, with a focus on controlling diethylene glycol residue (≤0.1%) and sensory indicators. Mainly used as a moisturizing ingredient in skincare products.
Standard stock items are of industrial grade. For special grade orders, please contact us for complete documentation.

Glycerine Used in the Cosmetic Industry
Glycerine is widely added to hand creams, body lotions, and toothpastes, where it serves to lubricate, thicken, and improve mouthfeel.

Glycerine Used in the Pharmaceutical Industry
● Laxative therapy: Prepared as enema preparations, lubricates the intestinal tract to relieve functional constipation.
● Reducing intracranial/intraocular pressure: Oral or intravenous administration of high-concentration glycerine solution raises plasma osmotic pressure, rapidly reducing cerebral edema or intraocular pressure during acute glaucoma attacks.
● Pharmaceutical excipient: Used as a solvent or stabilizer in cough syrups, suppositories, and ointments.
Glycerine Used in the Food Industry
● Moisturizing and freshness preservation: Used in pastries, candies, and meat products to prevent moisture loss and hardening, maintaining a soft texture.
● Sweetening and solvent: Can be used as a sweetener or as a solvent for flavors and pigments.

Glycerine Used in the Chemical Manufacturing
Glycerine is a common chemical raw material used in the production of nitroglycerin, alkyd resins, polyurethanes, and as an important precursor for biodiesel.
Glycerine Used in the Agriculture Industry
In agriculture, glycerine can be used as a spray, soaking agent, and detergent.

Glycerine Used in the Paper Industry
In the paper industry, glycerine is used as a humectant and plasticizer.
