We are committed to the chemical distribution across Central & Eastern Europe and Ukraine. We warmly welcome you to wholesale customized hydrogen peroxide made in China here from our factory.

Hydrogen Peroxide

Introduction

Colourless, viscous liquid with a faint, pungent odour. It is stable in the dark, but decomposes when heated, exposed to light, or in contact with impurities, releasing oxygen and water. It is miscible with water in all proportions. It acts as a strong oxidiser, a weak reductant, and a bleaching agent, with its oxidising power being significantly stronger in acidic media than in alkaline solutions.

Characteristics

Molar Weight: 34.0147 g/mol
Melting Point: -0.43 °C
Boiling Point: 150.2 °C
Forms: Liquid (clear)

Product Grades

Industrial Grade

Moderate purity with stabilisers. Used in pulp bleaching, textile processing, and wastewater treatment - stable, cost-effective.

Food Grade

High purity, strict heavy-metal limits. Used under controlled conditions for packaging sterilisation and surface bleaching; residues must be fully removed.

Electronic Grade

Ultra-high purity, metal ions and particles below ppt levels. Designed for semiconductor wafer cleaning and photoresist stripping in microelectronics manufacturing.

Standard stock items are industrial grade. For special-grade orders, please contact us for full documentation.

Industries

Hydrogen Peroxide Used in Household Use

● Surface disinfection: Destroys proteins of bacteria, viruses, and fungi; suitable for wiping or soaking surfaces, instruments, and sanitary fittings.

● Fabric bleaching: Gently oxidises pigment molecules, restoring whiteness to yellowed or stained light-coloured fabrics.

Hydrogen Peroxide Used in Construction Industry

● Material preparation: Foaming agent for aerated concrete; bleaches wood surfaces by breaking down lignin.

● Space sterilisation: Achieves 6-log microbial reduction in operating theatres and labs, leaving only water and oxygen.

● Infrastructure remediation: Aids concrete crack repair; degrades hydrocarbons and BTEX in contaminated sites via ISCO.

● Water and mould control: Controls algal blooms in landscape ponds and assists in treating wall efflorescence and mould.

Hydrogen Peroxide Used in Cosmetics Industry

● Hair colouring: Acts as an oxidising agent within oxidative hair dye formulations. It reacts with dye precursors to form colour molecules and lighten inherent hair pigments. It is provided as part of a two-component system.

● Teeth whitening: Exhibits oxidative properties that act on surface staining substances in oral formulation systems. Formulation reference concentrations: ≤0.1% for home-use products; up to 6% for professional dental formulations.

Hydrogen Peroxide Used in Drinking Water Treatment Industry

Food-grade hydrogen peroxide oxidises organic matter and bacteria, effectively improving water quality.

Hydrogen Peroxide Used in Textile Industry

● Cotton and blended fabric bleaching: Removes colour bodies under alkaline conditions for stable whiteness with low yellowing. Suitable for high-count and premium blends.

● Desizing–scouring–bleaching one-bath: Simultaneously performs desizing, scouring, and bleaching under alkaline heat, shortening processes and saving water.

● Protein fibre treatment: Carefully applied to silk and wool for whitening, with strict control to prevent fibre damage.

● Colour-safe bleaching: At low concentrations, gently removes yellowing and stains with less dye damage than chlorine bleaches.

Hydrogen Peroxide Used in Environmental Industry

● Oxidises organic pollutants and kills pathogens in wastewater treatment.

● Neutralises odours in air freshening products.

● Diluted solutions water plants to prevent root fungus and supply oxygen for growth.

● Releases reactive oxygen in air purification equipment to eliminate airborne contaminants.

● Controls algal growth and improves water quality for aquatic life.

Hydrogen Peroxide Used in Medical Industry

It possesses strong antimicrobial properties capable of inactivating bacteria, viruses and fungi. It serves as a raw material for disinfection formulations and is widely applied for cleaning medical equipment.
