The 20th session of the China‑Poland Economic Joint Commission was officially held in late August 2026. Serving as a high‑level top‑level planning platform, this joint commission confirms bilateral cooperation intentions covering market access, inspection and quarantine, and unimpeded supply chains. It aims to boost trade, facilitate inspection‑and‑quarantine procedures for agricultural goods and selected industrial products, and leverage China's supply‑side strengths.
For foreign‑trade enterprises, including those in the chemical and agricultural sectors, formal acceptance of streamlined procedures by official websites or front‑line customs authorities, as well as the release of concrete access lists such as newly approved product catalogues for exports to China or Poland, are expected to roll out successively from September through the fourth quarter following the conclusion of the joint commission session.

Enterprises planning to export chemicals, machinery or agricultural products to Poland should not passively wait for full policy implementation. Close attention shall be paid to announcements issued by the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs. Official press releases after the joint commission meeting and subsequent special bilateral protocols are generally published intensively on the website of the Department of European Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce or the official website of the General Administration of Customs of China.
Alternatively, verification may be sought from industry associations or local buyers. Polish domestic industry associations (e.g. Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry, PIPC) and local Polish importers usually obtain advance information on policy adjustments concerning customs and inspection‑and‑quarantine authorities (Sanepid/VET) earlier than counterparts in China. Inquiries may be directed to them regarding ongoing pre‑clearance facilitation or pilot schemes waiving certain cumbersome formalities for specific product categories.
