Polypropylene

Introduction

Polypropylene is a thermoplastic resin obtained through the polymerization of propylene as the monomer. Its appearance is typically a white, waxy substance and it is flammable. Compared with polyethylene, polypropylene exhibits higher transparency but lower gas permeability. As one of the plastic varieties with the lowest density, polypropylene possesses excellent temperature resistance.

Product Grades

General Grade (PP-H)

High rigidity, high-temp chemical resistance; used in injection molding, extrusion, fiber.

Transparent Grade (PP-R)

Ethylene copolymer; improved clarity & gloss, low-temp resistance; used in clear packaging & water pipes.

Impact-Resistant Grade (PP-B)

Rubber-modified for toughness, high impact, low-temp performance; used in automotive & industrial parts.

High-Crystallinity Grade

Superior rigidity & dimensional stability; used in appliance housings.

Heat-Sealable Grade

Low melting point, excellent heat sealing; used in packaging film coatings.

Fiber Grade

Optimized for melt-blown & spun-bond; high strength & softness; used in medical masks & nonwovens.

Cast Film (CPP) / Biaxially Oriented (BOPP)

High purity, good flatness; used in food packaging films & tapes.

Extrusion Coating Grade

High melt strength; used for lamination coatings on paper & woven bags.

Alloy Grade

Blended with EPDM; high rigidity & ultra-high impact; used in automotive bumpers & engineering components.

Standard stock items are industrial grade. For special-grade orders, please contact us for full documentation.
