Industrial Grade
Key parameters include kinematic viscosity, flash point, aromatics content, and sulfur content. Used in industrial fields such as plastics, rubber, textiles, and mechanical lubrication.
Cosmetic Grade
Strictly controlled for heavy metals (lead<30 ppm), arsenic (< 2 ppm), UV absorbance of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and absence of fluorescence. Used in skincare products, baby oil, lipsticks, etc.
Food Grade
Stricter limits on heavy metals (lead < 10 ppm) and arsenic (< 1 ppm). Used as lubricants for food processing machinery (H1 grade), release agents, fruit and vegetable preservatives, and pharmaceutical excipients. Some high-purity grades can be used as oral pharmaceutical excipients.
Pharmaceutical Grade
